Payments & Cancellations
Last updated: November 4, 2026
This policy explains what our services cost, how and when you pay, and what happens if you need to cancel. It is part of our Terms of Use. If anything here is unclear, please ask before you book.
We are cash pay
Internet Physical Therapy does not bill insurance, is not in any insurance network, and is not enrolled in Medicare. You pay us directly. If you’d like to send a claim to your health plan yourself, ask us for an itemized receipt (superbill) for your physical therapy visits. Whether your plan pays you back depends on your plan, so we can’t promise reimbursement.
Prices
- Movement evaluation: $199 for a 60-minute video evaluation and a written plan.
- 12-week program: $1,997 paid in full, or 3 monthly payments of $729 ($2,187 in total). It includes eight 30-minute video visits, a home exercise program in an app, messages with your Physical Therapist, and progress checks at weeks 4, 8 and 12.
- Evaluation credit: if you enroll in the 12-week program within 7 days of your evaluation, the evaluation fee is credited toward the program. If you pay in full, it comes off the program price; on the payment plan, it comes off your first payment.
- Coaching and educational programs: priced as shown when you book or check out.
We may change our prices, but a change never affects a service you have already paid for.
How and when you pay
- We accept major credit and debit cards, and HSA and FSA cards, through Jane, our secure patient portal. Whether your HSA or FSA covers a service is between you and your plan administrator. HSA and FSA cards are generally for medical care such as physical therapy; coaching, workshops, courses and memberships usually aren’t eligible.
- The evaluation is paid when you book it.
- The 12-week program is paid in full when you enroll, or on the payment plan: with your written authorization, we charge your saved card when you enroll and again 30 and 60 days later.
- If a payment fails, we’ll let you know. Program visits may pause until the balance is paid.
Cancelling or rescheduling a visit
- Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule any visit, using the link in your Jane emails or by calling or emailing us.
- Evaluation: with 24 hours’ notice or more, you can move it to a new time at no charge, and your payment stays on your account for a new time within 6 months. With less than 24 hours’ notice, or if you miss it, the fee is used.
- Program visits: a visit cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed, counts as one of your eight visits.
- If you are late, your visit still ends at its scheduled time.
- We understand emergencies happen. Contact us, and we will consider exceptions case by case.
- If we have to cancel a visit, we reschedule it at no cost to you.
Physical therapy payments are non-refundable
- Evaluation and 12-week program: payments for physical therapy are non-refundable and can’t be transferred to another person.
- Payment plan: choosing the payment plan is an agreement to pay the full program price. The remaining payments stay due if you stop attending.
- Using your visits: your eight program visits are yours to use within 6 months of enrolling. Visits not used by then expire.
- Pausing: if an illness, injury or emergency keeps you from your visits, contact us and we can pause your program.
The only exceptions are when we can’t provide the care you paid for:
- Before your evaluation: if it turns out we can’t treat you (for example, you have Medicare, or you won’t be in a state where your Physical Therapist is licensed), we cancel the evaluation and refund it in full.
- During the program: if your Physical Therapist decides that video care isn’t safe or right for you and ends your care, or we stop offering the program, we refund the visits you haven’t used, in proportion to what you paid for the program after any evaluation credit, and cancel any payments not yet due.
- If you’re outside a state where your Physical Therapist is licensed at the time of a visit, we reschedule it at no charge.
Workshops, courses, memberships and coaching
- Live workshops: a full refund if you ask before the second session starts.
- Courses: a full refund if you ask within 60 days of purchase.
- Memberships: a membership renews automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly, as shown at checkout) at the price shown at checkout, until you cancel. Cancel anytime from your account or by emailing us; your access continues to the end of the period you’ve paid for, and there are no refunds for partial periods.
- Coaching sessions: the same 24-hour cancellation rule as visits applies.
Any refund goes back to the card you paid with. If you have a billing question or think a charge is wrong, please contact us before disputing it with your bank, so we can fix it quickly.
Pennsylvania
In Pennsylvania, we need a referral before your first visit from a physician, physician assistant or certified registered nurse practitioner, or from a dentist or podiatrist for a condition they treat. Email it to us after you book. If we don’t have it before your evaluation, we’ll move the evaluation to a new time at no charge.
Medicare
Medicare rules don’t allow a Physical Therapist who isn’t enrolled in Medicare to accept private payment for physical therapy that Medicare covers. We aren’t enrolled in Medicare, so if you have Medicare (including a Medicare Advantage plan) we can’t provide 1:1 physical therapy at this time. Our coaching and educational programs are open to you. If you’re not sure, call us before you book.
Your right to a Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have certain types of health care coverage or who are not using certain types of health care coverage an estimate of their bill for health care items and services before those items or services are provided.
- You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any health care items or services upon request or when scheduling such items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
- If you schedule a health care item or service at least 3 business days in advance, make sure your health care provider or facility gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing within 1 business day after scheduling. If you schedule a health care item or service at least 10 business days in advance, make sure your health care provider or facility gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing within 3 business days after scheduling. You can also ask any health care provider or facility for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. If you do, make sure the health care provider or facility gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing within 3 business days after you ask.
- If you get a bill that is at least $400 more for any provider or facility than your Good Faith Estimate from that provider or facility, you can dispute the bill.
- Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate and the bill.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises/consumers, email FederalPPDRQuestions@cms.hhs.gov, or call 1-800-985-3059.
We send your Good Faith Estimate in writing through Jane, our patient portal.
